Arrival & Welcome to Base Camp

Arrive at Firefly Falls Accommodation from 14:00 and settle into your luxury tented setup surrounded by Tsitsikamma’s forest canopy.
At 17:00, a relaxed orientation gets you ready for the adventure ahead — our guides will assist with bicycle prep and gear organisation.
As evening falls, enjoy a laid-back African braai in the lapa, swapping stories with fellow riders under the stars.
Fall asleep to the sounds of nature in your private tent, recharged for the trails that await.

Stormsriver to Mountain Biocamp

Begin the day with a light breakfast at Firefly Falls before meeting your guide team and getting a quick equipment check.
By 8:00, you and your bikes will be shuttled to the start — ready to ride!
Cycle through a mix of MTO forestry roads and indigenous forest trails, climbing steadily to reach the Tsitsikamma Mountain Biocamp. Lunch is served mid-ride overlooking the mountain slopes.
Arriving at camp by early afternoon, take a refreshing dip in the nearby Lottering River or simply unwind while soaking up the mountain views.
As the sun sets, enjoy dinner overlooking the tranquil range — far from city lights, with nothing but stars and silence.

Mountains to Bloukrans Gorge Biocamp

After breakfast, the journey continues as you descend from mountain peaks to the coastal escarpment.
Today’s route runs along the ridge just above the Otter Trail, with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean below.
You’ll cross the Bloukrans River Gorge, where a cool swim awaits before the final climb out of the valley.
The day ends at Bloukrans Gorge Biocamp, perched high above the river mouth with panoramic views stretching toward Plettenberg Bay and the Robberg Peninsula.
Unwind here with dinner and spectacular ocean views — the perfect close to a big day on the bike.

Bloukrans to Nature’s Valley

Wake to the sound of the ocean and enjoy breakfast overlooking the coastline before the final stretch — the Champagne Stage.
This ride offers a more relaxed flow, following gentle coastal trails through forestry and fynbos. As you descend toward Nature’s Valley, sweeping views open up across the forest and sea.
The final climb out of the valley leads you back to Firefly Falls, where your vehicles await.
Celebrate your journey with a light lunch and drinks, sharing memories of the epic adventure you’ve just completed.
Optional: Add an extra night at Firefly Falls to unwind and enjoy the serenity of Tsitsikamma before heading home.
